 Ingredients

  •  1/2 Cup of any yogurt or ice cream
  •  1/4 Cup of clean washed dates, pitted and chopped
  •  1/4 Cup of milk
  •  1 banana
  •  4 ice cubes (optional)

Directions: Smoothly blend all ingredients and serve.

RECIPE 2

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup of freshly made custard (add sugar to your taste and ensure its made thick)
  •  1 Cup of milk
  •  1 Cup of clean washed dates, pitted and chopped

 Directions: Smoothly blend all ingredients and serve (you can place them in the fridge to cool before being served).

RECIPE 3

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of clean washed dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 1 banana (optional)

 Directions: Smoothly blend all ingredients and serve (you can add ice cubes to it before serving or place them in the fridge to chill before serving).

Sprinkles

You can chop some nuts like cashew nuts, groundnuts, almond nuts, macadamia nuts and sprinkle them on the top of your ready-to-be-served date smoothie.

Note: Dates are incredibly beneficial for pregnant women as it helps supply the fetus with a sufficient amount of vitamin K needed for blood clotting and strong bones. It also reduces the need for induction and augmentation of labor, thereby producing a more favorable delivery outcome.

However, pregnant women are advised to eat enough dates as that will genuinely help and ensure that your doctor is aware.
