The leave-in conditioners play an essential role in our hair care regimen, as no regimen is complete without it.
Our hair is never immune to damage, frizz, breakage, dryness, tangling, stiffening, and dull cloudy hair.
In this regard, we cannot overlook the place of the leave-in conditioner. Leave-in conditioners restore and hold up life for the hair. It helps condition and moisturizes the hair by locking in moisture. It acts as a protector and smooths the hair cuticle, thereby making our hair grow, shine soft, smoother, healthier, and more manageable.
As the name implies, the leave-in conditioner is never to be washed or rinsed out after application. It’s a must application after your hair works out. For example: after wash, you should apply deep conditioning, hot oil, roots treatment, the leave-in conditioner daily.

■Essential oils like peppermint oil, tea tree oil, spice oil, clove oil, rosemary oil, thyme oil, eucalyptus oil, ylang-ylang oil, or Lavender oil is best advised.
■The maximum life span of leave-ins, especially liquid-based & gel emollient leave-in, should be at least 7-10 days, while buttercream emollients can last for 2-3 weeks if properly stored.
■Make do with a spray bottle for your liquid-based leave-ins and air-tight containers or for your butter and gel leave-in.
■When taking up measurements in parts, a shallow spoon, mini cup or shampoo, conditioners, oil, or body spray covers could be used.
■Clean distilled water is advised.
■Ensure ingredients are adequately combined before use.
■A daily (morning, afternoon, or night) use of your liquid base leave-in is recommended.
■An excess application of your buttercream emollients can cause hair to be greasy, thereby clogging the follicles. Just a light application is ok.
